Vernacular Names: Blue-eyed Cuscus.

Distribution: Ternate and Tidore Isls ( Indonesia).

Conservation: Restricted distribution.

Discussion: Described as a subspecies of P. ornatus by Flannery and Boeadi (1995), but differs absolutely (diagnostically), and so raised to specific rank here.
