No Chlorion cocoon has been described in detail. Evans (1964, p. 244) studied cocoons of C. aerarium Patton, 1879 and commented that they ‘were composed of a single layer of brittle, dark brown, transversely ribbed parchment-like material’ and that they were very similar to those of Sceliphron .
