Distribution
Palaearctic species ( Isaia et al. 2007). It is distributed in Europe, Caucasus, Russia, Central Asia and China ( World Spider Catalog 2020). It can be found in mainland Italy ( Pantini and Isaia 2019).
Notes
It occurs mainly on poorly vegetated clay soils, in clay pits, mudflats and on the banks of estuaries ( Roberts 1995). It is a diurnal hunter ( Isaia et al. 2007)
