Cotype, females (2) MLP N° 1681/2 , 3. Argentina, Neuquén.

Cotype, male (2) MLP N° 1681/4 . Argentina, Rio Negro, Dto. Avellaneda, Bajo de Sta. Rosa . 17-XII-1943, Maldonado Bruzzone col.

Remarks. Female cotype 1681/1 hold “ Tettigades compacta Walk ”, handwr. on white paper, with genitalia dissected in vial; female 1681/2 with genitalia dissected in vial; female 1681/3 with left wings extended and genitalia dissected in vial; male 1681/4 with left wings extended. Author mentions one male and one female from Rio Negro, San Antonio, A. Carcelles col., and other specimens (1 male and 2 female without locality) in MACN. Specimens labelled as “cotypus” by Torres, are considered here as syntypes (ICZN, art. 73.2.1).
