Remarks. These are fragments of dead specimens with no loose spicules collected from locations close to that of A. bisymmetrica sp. n., thus likely belonging to the same species. Most probabaly this species can be also seen on photos ( Roux et al., 1991) taken during CALSUB expediton, ‘Cyana’, dive 16, on northern slope of Ouvea- Lifou rise, 836? m.
