Coelophora vittipennis Fauvel, 1903: 328 . Micraspis vittipennis: Chazeau 1978: 68 .
To date, this species is only known from a single type specimen (female), with no precise locality (see Chazeau 1978). Fauvel (1903) underlined differences with M. lineola , but the lack of male specimen precludes identification of its relationships with M. vittipennis , M. frenata and the four other Micraspis View in CoL recorded from Australia. We consider this species still as a valid endemic one.
Material examined. NEW CALEDONIA: no precise locality ( ONNC).
