Digonocryptus Viereck

Distribution. Neotropical region, from central Mexico to Uruguay ( Fig. 100 ). There are no records for the caatinga, a vast, semiarid region of thorny shrub vegetation in northeastern Brazil, but it is unknown to what extent this might be due to insufficient sampling in that region.
