Lectotype (Lee & Gladstones in Taxon 28: 617. 1979): Herb. A. van Royen No. 908. 119-414 ( L) .

Current name: Lupinus varias L. ( Fabaceae : Faboideae ).

Note: Lee & Gladstones (in Taxon 28: 616. 1979) proposed the rejection of the name under the then Art. 69, but this was not recommended by the Committee for Spermatophyta (in Taxon 32: 624. 1983).
