Distribution. Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, and Vietnam (cf. Table 1 View TABLE 1 ).

Remarks. Uca lactea is one of the most common species in East Asia and Vietnam. It ranges from Korea (northernmost distribution), Japan, continental China, Taiwan, northern Hainan, to northern Vietnam (southernmost distribution) (cf. Table 1 View TABLE 1 ; Kamita 1941; Dai et al. 1986; Dai & Yang 1991; Shih 1994; Kosuge et al. 1997; Yoshigou 2001; Shih et al. 2008, 2009).
