Binoy ; Tamil Nadu: All Coll. S. Nivetha , 5♀, 8♂ Erode dt., Avalpoondurai, 01.xii.2023 ; 4♀, 10♂ Karur dt., Pugalur, 13.xii.2023 ; 3♀, 6♂ Tiruppur dt., Nathakadayur, 25.i.2024 .

Diagnosis. Black; head in frontal view distinctly wider (1.3× excluding mandibles) than high ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 11–18 ); preorbital carinae joining with auricular carina and meeting with genal carina in the middle ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 11–18 , arrow); mesosoma sparsely punctate with small punctures, the interspaces smooth; scutellum distinctly longer than maximum width, and with conspicuous medio-longitudinal furrow ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 11–18 , arrow); axillae and sides of mesoscutum with tufts of silvery-white setae ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 11–18 ); metacoxa with dorsobasal tubercle; metafemur with inner basal tooth ( Fig. 17 View FIGURES 11–18 , arrow). Female metasoma acuminate apically ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 11–18 ); male metasoma subglobose ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 11–18 ).

Note. The specimens from Kerala have brown-black hind legs compared to entirely black specimens from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
