Shenefelt (1972) recorded this species from Aporia crataegi , Corcyra cephalonica , Helicoverpa armigera and Spodoptera mauritia . Also, Orocrambus simplex has been recorded from India ( Wilkinson 1928) and Formosa ( Watanabe 1937). It has been also reported as a larval parasitoid of Sesamia gresescens and S. inferens Walker (Kuniata and Sweet 1994) .
