Parexothrips Priesner View in CoL
Three species, capitis , palumai and tenellus , are listed in this genus (ThripsWiki 2021), of which Mirab-Balou (2014) recorded tenellus from China, and here a second species is newly recorded in China. In species of this genus the prosternal basantra bear two or more pairs of setae, and the prosternal ferna are incomplete medially, in contrast to species of the related genus, Exothrips (Mound 2011) .
