19. Phyllophaga (Phyllophaga) roscida (Burmeister, 1855)

Comments. The species was originally described from a male and a female obtained in “Columbien” by Mr. Sommer. Frey (1975) stated that only the female type was found and that it is similar to P. rorulenta and to P. pastassana (Moser) from Ecuador. Revision of the non-type female deposited in MLUH showed that the mesotibial and metatibial structures are similar to the species in the subgenus Cnemarachis , however, the structure of the claws is very different to those of P. pastassana .
