Comments. In the original description of the genus Ancylonycha , the sex of the specimen was not given and its origin is limited to " Colombie?". Frey (1975) states that only the male specimen from “ Kolumbien ” is known, although he did not illustrate the genitalia. In order to identify this specimen correctly, it is necessary to locate the holotype, possibly deposited in the collection of the National History Museum in Paris.
