Occurring in the Holarctic, India, Madagascar; in Georgia: EG: Dusheti - Bazaleti Lake, Gardabani - Jandari Lake, River Mtkvari; WG: Poti - Chaladidi, River Mtkvari reported by Kurashvili (1953a), Kurashvili (1957), Kurashvili et al. (1980) and Kurashvili (1984b).
