Least Concern for European assessment ( Hochkirch et al. 2016).
Distribution
Europe, Africa and Asia ( Fontana et al. 2002). In Italy, it is widespread in the whole country (Sicily and Sardinia included), but often discontinuously ( Baroni et al. 2018, Iorio et al. 2019, Massa et al. 2012).
Notes
It is a hygrophilous species, often living in brackish habitats ( Fontana et al. 2002). In Italy, it seems to be in decline ( Iorio et al. 2019, Massa et al. 2012).
