Lectotype male. Here designated. Label data (7): "Type, A. percnochlaena , M."; "Musée du Congo, Kibati (1900), 10–20.i.1934, G. F. de Witte, 160, Parc Nat. Albert"; " Congo belge: Kivu, Kibati, 1900m. 10– 20.i.1934, G. F. de Witte: 160"; "Ex-Typis"; " E. Meyrick det., 1937: Argyroploce View in CoL , percnochlaena Meyr. "; " R. Dét., 4079, EE"; "P64". [Abdomen missing]; specimen ID: RMCA ENT 000005004 View Materials ( Fig. 40).
Remarks. Described from 2 specimens, 1 male and 1 female. The female paralectotype was supposed to be in BMNH, however it was not found there (K. Tuck, pers. comm.). Genitalia are not known. Brown (2005: 451) incorrectly mentioned the specimen in RMCA as the holotype.
