Holotype: ♀ Iran, Kerman prov., 36 km N Kerman, 30.660N 56,972E 2103 m, 7.v.2019, in yellow pan trap (leg. & coll. CSE). GoogleMaps

Diagnosis. Solierella kermania sp. nov. belongs to a lineage with a partly impunctate and shiny epicsrobal area. It can be recognized by the irregular scattered mesonotal punctation (compared with other Iranian species) in combination with a narrow propodeal enclosure without distinct striae. It is the smallest species treated here, other from S. bactriana .

Description of female, holotype: Body length 4.2 mm. Colour: Black with the following parts whitish (mandible and foreleg more yellow than white): mandible except narrow black zone basally and red apex, band of pronotum (shortly interrupted medially), pronotal lobe, tegula, parts of basal sclerite of fore wing, metanotum, upper side of tibae, tarsi, apex of femora, large bands on underside of fore- and midfemora, half as long as femoral length. Antenna reddish below, wing venation black, basally pale. Wings transparent. Tergites dark red, apical tergal margins I–V yellowish. Morphology: ACM widely rounded. Frons with micro-reticulation. Vertex around ocelli with dense punctation and some shiny interspaces. Mesonotum with sparse puncation, interspaces 1–2.5 diameters apart, scutellum with dense punctation, punctures 0.5–1 diameter apart. Mesopleuron with dense punctation, similar to that of scutellum, episrobal area with small impunctate and shiny area,. Foretarsus without spines. Propodeal enclosure dull, with some irregular striation; measured medially less than half wide as whole propodeum. Lateral parts of propdeal dorsum with dense silver pubescence. Propodeum laterally with about 12 striae, interspaces shiny. Tergites with very fine and dense punctation, shiny.
