( Figs 10–11 View FIGURES 9–12 )

Holotype: ♀ Iran, Fars prov., Khafr , 28,97N 53,20E 1289m, 17–30.ix.2015 B. Majoon leg, in malaise trap (coll. ZSM). GoogleMaps

Diagnosis. Solierella khafriensis sp. nov. belongs to a lineage with a partly impunctate and shiny episcrobal area. It can be recognized by an even and fine mesonotal puncture, in combination with large shiny interspaces on mesopleuron. Tergites are distinctly dark red apically before yellow margin, a character unique amoug species from Iran. Pale colour is yellowish and not white as e.g. in S. kermania sp. nov.

Description of female, holotype: Body length 4.8 mm. Colour: Black with the following parts yellowish: Mandible except red apex, band of pronotum, medially shortly interrupted, pronotal lobe, tegula, parts of basal sclerite of fore wing, metanotum, upper side of tibae, tarsi, apex of femora, large bands on underside of fore- and midfemora, two-third as long as femoral length. Antenna reddish below, wing venation black, basally pale. Wings transparent. Tergites medially distinctly dark red, in front of apical margin band; apical tergal margins I–V yellowish, tergal base I also red. Morphology: ACM widely rounded. Frons with fine punctation, vertex around ocelli, mesoscutum and scutellum with some sparser punctation, punctures 1.5–2 diameters apart. Mesopleuron with sparse punctation, similar to that of mesoscutum, some interspaces larger. Episcrobal area with large impunctate and shiny area, as large as 4x size of midocellus. Foretarsus without spines. Propodeal enclosure with 7 distinct longitudinal striae in basal half, and some irregular striae in apcial half, interspaces dull. Lateral parts of propodeal dorsum with dense silver pubescence. Propodeum laterally with about 12 striae, interspaces shiny. Tergites with very fine and dense punctation, shiny.

Male: Unknown.
