Diagnosis. Body shiny and round. Head wider than long, weakly convex dorsally, shining, broad at the base, and weakly acuminate between antennal sockets to the apex. Antennae with a highly tumid first antennal segment, a sinuous second antennal segment, and other segments cylindrical. Pronotum shiny and punctate with long, semi-erect, thick pubescence; the lateral borders of pronotum rounded; scutellum smooth, shiny, and somewhat convex.
