Odynerus neutralis Giordani Soika, 1943: 12 , fig. 5, ♀ ( type locality: “ Asia minore: Amasia ” [ Turkey]).

Material examined. AZERBAIJAN. Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic: Babek, Payiz , 39°26ʹ06ʹʹN, 45°22ʹ56ʹʹE, 1230 m, 25. VI.2024, 1 ♀, leg. M. Proshchalykin, M. Maharramov [ CAFK]; ibid., 28. VI.2024, 1 ♂, leg. M. Proshchalykin, M. Maharramov [ CAFK] .

Distribution. * Azerbaijan ( Nakhchivan AR), Turkey, Iran.

Remarks. This species is poorly-known and therefore illustrated here ( Fig. 3 ). The taxonomic status of the subspecies Leptochilus neutralis rufior Giordani Soika, 1952 , described from Israel and Palestine and also reported from Syria ( Giordani Soika 1952, 1970), should be revised to ascertain whether it is a synonym of L. neutralis neutralis , or a distinct species.
