Diagnosis.

Head wide with wide scutellum. Antennae composed of around 11 antennomeres. Antennomeres flattened. Median carina of pronotum forming a crest. Femora with teeth and lappets. The genus and its species are reviewed in detail in Kasalo et al. (2022).

Lophotettix ( Lophotettix) brevicristatus Hancock, 1909 .
