Diagnosis: As provided by Høeg et al. (2020).
Comment: As for the Peltogasterellidae , these parasites have obligatory colonial externae that are lost and replaced after a single reproductive cycle.
Host: Brachyura, Anomura, Caridea and Stomatopoda.
