Current name: Eucheuma denticulatum (Burm. f.) Collins & Herv. ( Solieriaceae ).

Note: A superfluous name for F. denticulatus Burm. f. (1768) and also a later homonym of F. spinosus Gmelin (1768) . Although Doty (in Abbott, Taxon. Econ. Seaweeds 2: 179 1988) treated 1274.104 (LINN) as the type, this shows no connection with F. denticulatus and is not original material for that name.
