Bathymetric distribution: 5–100 m —SW.

Geographical distribution: USA (North Carolina) to Brazil (AP to RJ)—WGD.

Remarks: Prezant (1981), Rios (1994, 2009) and Simone et al. (2015) suggested that this species is a synonym of Entodesma beana (d’Orbigny, 1853) , a statement not followed by MolluscaBase (2023).
