Remarks: Laevicardium pristis (Bory de Saint-Vincent, 1827) is recorded from Brazil by the CTFB (2024), but this occurrence needs confirmation. This species appears to be restricted from the coast of the USA (Florida), Bahamas, Colombia, and Venezuela ( Huber 2010a).
