type locality carrikeri View in CoL : Salta, Río Lipeo remarks In the original description Fowler (1940) indicated the type locality to be in Bolivia. Ringuelet et al. (1967) and Ringuelet
(1975) corrected this locality to be in the Argentinean province in
Salta. Nevertheless, most literature accounts erroneously follow
Fowler.
