HOLOTYPE (J): ‘Panjampatti / India 4.3.931 [hw] // Typus [hw, red label] // Det. Dr. Balthasar [p] / O. Zubači m. [hw] // zubači m. [yellow label, black frame]’.

Current status. Junior subjective synonym of Onthophagus (Colobonthophagus) dama (Fabricius, 1798) , see BALTHASAR (1963d) and SCHEUERN (1995).
