Material examined

Paratype. Male , “Périnet; Institut Scientifique Madagascar ” ( RMNH) .

Morphology

As described by van Achterberg (1991). In addition: frons with depression in front of anterior ocellus. Fore wing subbasal cell with reduced setosity, largely glabrous but with mid-longitudinal band of sparse setae on basal half that expands distally to form a large patch where cell membrane is slightly yellowed and thickened; vein 2-SR strongly angled medially; vein m-cu 1.6 times length of 2-SR+M, forming an angle of 130 ◦ with 3-CU1; vein 2-M 2.3 times length of r-m. Hind wing basal cell posteriorly, subbasal largely glabrous; discal+subdiscal cell with small area of reduced setosity adjacent to vein cu-a.
