Minnesota Hosts: Adults collected on Larix laricina   and Quercus sp.   Larval hosts recorded as Acer negundo   , A. rubrum   , A. saccharinum   , Amelanchier arborea   , Carpinus caroliniana   , Celtis occidentalis   , Crataegus sp.   , Fraxinus pennsylvanica   , Juglans cinerea   , J. nigra   , Malus sp.   , Populus tremuloides   , Prunus domestica   L., Quercus alba   , Sorbus americana Marsh.   ( Rosaceae   ), Tilia americana   L. var. americana   ( Malvaceae   ), and Ulmus americana   .

Collection Method: On dying L. laricina   , in window traps in damaged Quercus sp.   , in bait trap, breeding cages, at light, Malaise trap, in Lindgren funnel trap on Pinus banksiana   , and as C. fumipennis   prey.
