Collection Dates: 3–31 July.

Minnesota Hosts: Unspecified in collection records. Larval host recorded as Pinus resinosa . Adults also on Picea sp. and Pinus banksiana .

Collection Method: Lindgren funnel trap baited with alpha-pinene and ethanol and as C. fumipennis prey.
