Collection dates: June.

Travis (1934) reported only nine specimens from Iowa indicating it was rare in the state. Specimen label data: Ames , Story Co., Iowa, [no date], [no collector], determined Davis ( ISIC) ; Dyersville , Dubuque Co., Iowa, 22 June 1914, white oak, R.L.W. ( ISIC) .
