Antennae long, extending beyond pronotal base; antennomere III longer than IV; antennomere I scarcely shorter than XI. Clypeus sub-trapezoidal in shape, 1.5 times wider than long; surface pubescent and with sparse coarse punctures. Labrum 2–3 times wider than long; surface smooth with long seta at lateral margin.

Female. Similar to male. Length 12.7 mm, width 8.5 mm (n=3). Interocular width 2 times diameter of eyes. Clypeus 1.5–2 times wider than long. Labrum 2–3 times wider than long. Pronotum 2 times wider than long. Spermatheca well sclerotized ( Fig. 19 View FIGURE 19 C), 2 times longer than wide; apex rounded; velum present; spermathecal duct weakly coiled.

Comparative note. Ogdoecosta decemstillata is distinguished from O. guttifera by the lack of spots on the pronotal disc, bigger spots on the elytra, its prosternal process with a deep groove, elytra with punctures deeply impressed, and velum present in the spermathca.
