Distribution. Nearctic. Canada: ON. USA: AR, DC, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, KS, LA, MA (NSR), MD, MI, MO, MS, NC, NH (NSR), NJ, NY, OH, OK (NSR), PA, RI, TN, TX, VA, WI.

Collection and Habitat data. The MA, NH, and OK specimens were found on fungi, and in leaf litter on a lake margin. Collected by a baited funnel trap and by sifting forest litter; in NH taken from August to October. In Canada recorded from a mixed forest in gilled mushrooms ( Klimaszewski et al. 2018).
