Distribution. Nearctic, widely distributed in North America. Canada: AB, BC, MB, NB, NF, NS, ON, QC, SK. USA: AZ, CA, CO, FL, MA, ME, MN, MT, ND, NH, NM, NV, NY, OK, OR, PA, RI, TN, TX, UT, WA, WI.

Collection and Habitat data. No data available for the collection from NH. Elsewhere found in animal droppings, in carrion, fungi, decaying seaweed, in flood debris, and litter in marshy habitats ( Klimaszewski 1984, Klimaszewski et al. 2018).

Material. USA, New Hampshire, Belknap Co.: Three Mile Island, F. Blanchard ( Klimaszewski 1984).
