Type Locality: W Angola, Landana.
Vernacular Names: Angolan Pelomys.
Distribution: W Angola ( Crawford-Cabral, 1983) and W Dem. Rep. Congo.
Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Discussion: A distinctive species occurring either sympatrically or parapatrically with P. fallax in parts of its range ( Crawford-Cabral, 1983).
