Collasuyusana retrorsa (Nielson) View in CoL , comb. nov.

Moderate size, slender species, length variable, 6.30–9.00 mm. General color dark brown to black, sometimes golden brown, various size yellow markings on dorsum, particularly on veins of forewings. Head narrower than pronotum; crown narrower to broader than width of eyes; produced about ¼ to 1/3 beyond anterior margin of eyes; pronotum about equal in length to crown; mesonotum length varies from equal to much greater than length of pronotum; clypeus varies from narrow, flat to broad, clypellus often with inflated base; male pygofer with lobe-like caudodorsal process, caudoventral process short to long, very narrow; subgenital plate pilose; style very long, apophysis usually slender; aedeagus tubular, very slender, base recurved, apex with single spine; dorsal connective bifurcate basally, always enclosing aedeagal shaft, nearly always attached to ventro-subbasal apodeme of aedeagus. Remarks. This genus was established by fragmentation of Boliviela to form the new genus. Eight species now comprise the group, 7 of which are new. The group can be distinguished by the aedeagus with very slender, tubular shaft and distinctive recurved base with single apical spine. The dorsal connective is always bifurcate basally with arms enclosing aedeagal shaft and attached to basal apodemes of aedeagus.
