Remarks: This species appears to be present on both sides of Bering Strait ( Fjellberg 1985). A single specimen was also recorded on Svalbard ( Fjellberg 1998), although it has not been found in other northern territories of the Nearctic and Palaearctic.

General distribution: Northern Holarctic.
