The Strongylophthalmyia ustulata View in CoL group
Diagnosis. Recognized within the genus by the following characters: antennal arista pubescent; male distiphallus two-segmented; female with single sclerotized spermatheca.
Diversity and distribution. This group currently contains ten species, six are reported from north temperate area, two from Myanmar, and two from southern China ( Evenhuis 2016). Three new species from China are described herein, and S. yaoshana is excluded from this group in this study.
