Geographical distribution. Mexico (Chihuahua, Zacatecas, San Luís Potosí, Michoacán, Guanajuato, Oaxaca, Tamaulipas) .

Material examined: 4 specimens, 30–32 km E. Lagos de Moreno , Jalisco, Mexico, 13 October, 2001, R. L. Penrose, collector, ex. flowers and foliage of Mallow, ( CSCA, LGBC) ; 7 specimens, 18 km W. Agua Caliente, Aguascalientes, Mexico, 14 October, 2001, R. L. Penrose, collector ( CSCA, LGBC). New state records .
