Description. Shell small, moderately broad fusiform, thin, high spired with deeply incised suture. Large, low conical multispiral protoconch of 3.5 convex whorls, terminating in moderately deep sinusigera. Protoconch microsculpture of delicate axial ribs being most prominent below mid-whorl, adapically fading out. Teleoconch of four whorls. Spire whorls weakly convex to flat-sided with periphery close to abapical suture. Sculpture of closeset, prominent orthocline to weakly opisthocline slightly curved axial ribs, adapically terminating in pointed tips. Spiral sculpture of weak spiral cords on abapical portion of base and siphonal fasciole. Last whorl convex, strongly constricted at base. Aperture moderately wide. Outer lip slightly thickened with five prominent denticles within. Anal canal weakly incised, V-shaped. Siphonal canal moderately long, narrow, deeply notched at tip. Columellar callus sharply delimited, forming narrow callus rim, with three columellar denticles. Small parietal callus pad.

Shell measurements and ratios. SL: 4.2–5.1 mm, MD: 1.7–2.1 mm, AA: 26–29°, SL/MD: 2.5–2.6, AL/AW: 3.1–3.2, LWH/AH: 1.3.

Discussion. This species differs from Bellacolumbella karreri and B. katharinae in the conical spire and the higher number of axial ribs, which develop only delicate nodes at their tips. In addition, the labial denticles are more prominent. Despite having more crowded axial sculpture than its congeners, the peculiar protoconch places it in Bellacolumbella .

Palaeoenvironment. Unknown.

Distribution in Central Paratethys. Badenian (middle Miocene): Pannonian Basin: Letkés ( Hungary) ( Csepreghy-Meznerics 1956); Făget Basin: Coşteiu de Sus ( Romania) ( Boettger 1906).
