Material examined. Holotype female, coffee farm in Embu, Eastern Province, August, 2005 (El-Banhawy). The male is unknown.

Female: Dorsal shield smooth, 360 long, 230 wide, with 10 pairs of pores. Measurements of dorsal setae: j1 28, j3 40, j4 25, j5 21, j6 23, J2 25, J5 7, z2 30, z4 44, z5 24, Z1 35, Z4 30, Z5 48, s4 46, S2, S4 40, S5 37, r3, R1 32, JV5 70. Peritrematal shield fused anteriorly with dorsal shield, reaching level of z2. Sternal shield smooth, with posterior medium lobe, distances between St I-St III 70 , St II-St II 70 , St IV free on integument. Genital shield 87 wide. Ventri-anal shield much longer than wide, 120 long, 60 wide, with a pair of crescentic pre-anal pores and three pairs of pre-anal setae, (JV1, JV2, ZV2). A pair of metapodal platelets, a long thin sigillar sclerite and four pairs of setae surrounding ventri-anal shield. Fixed digit of chelicera with four small teeth clustered distally, movable digit with one tooth. Spermatheca calyx 50 long, anteriorly enlarged, 12 long, with posterior filament, 36 long, branched distally, atrium 10 long. Macrosetae pointed on Sge II 30 , Sti III 35 and enlarged on Sge III 35 , Sge IV 60 , Sti IV 50 , St IV 60 . Chaetotaxy: genu II 2 , 2 / 0, 2/0, 1, genu III 1 , 2 /1, 2/0, 1.
