Material examined. Holotype female, Kenya, Nyahururu (Thompson Falls), altitude 2500 m, May 5, 2006 (El- Banhawy).

Female: Dorsal shield smooth, 330 long, 196 wide. Measurements of dorsal setae: j1 25, j3 26, j4 7, j5, j6 6, J2 12, J5 9, z2 9, z4 14, z5 10, Z1 14, Z4 39, Z5 85, s4 43, S2 16, S4, S5 12, r3, R1 16, JV5 46. Seta Z 5 slightly serrated, remaining setae smooth. Peritrematal shield fused anteriorly with dorsal shield, reaching level of j1. Sternal shield smooth, posterior margin concave, distances between St I-St III 58 and St II-St II 70 , St IV on platelet. Genital shield 78 wide. Ventri-anal shield pentagonal, smooth, 104 long, 62 wide with a pair of crescentic pre-anal pores and three pairs of pre-anal setae (JV1, JV2, ZV2). Two pairs of metapodal platelets, a thin longitudinal sigillar sclerite and four pairs of setae surrounding ventri-anal shield. Fixed digit of chelicera with nine teeth, movable digit with three teeth. Spermatheca calyx cup shaped, 6 long, 6 wide, atrium nodular, 2.5 long, major duct long and slender. Macrosetae, Sge II 30 , Sge III 32 , Sge IV 48 , Sti IV 30 , St IV 53 . Chaetotaxy : genu II 2 , 2 / 0, 2/0, 1, genu III 1 , 2 /1, 2/0, 1.

Remarks. This species is similar to T. katumaniensis Zannou et al .. The shape of the ventri-anal shield, the pre-anal pores, and the spermatheca differentiate these species. The male is unknown.
