JAPAN: Saetheria kisopediformis (Sasa & Kondo) , holotype 3, No. 222: 70) Kiso River, Toyama Prefecture, Japan, 15.xi.1988, light trap; Paracladopelma nagaraelongata Sasa , holotype, 3 (No. A170: 42), Nagara River, Gifu City, Japan, 25.xi.1988, light trap, coll. M. Sasa; Parachironomus taishoabeus Sasa & Tanaka , holotype, 3 (No. 392: 82), Taisho Bridge, Tone River, Gunma Prefecture, Japan, 13.ix.1999, light trap. Distribution. The species occurs in the Holarctic region. In the Sino-Indian region, it is recorded from the Russian Far East ( Zorina 2000) and Japan ( Kobayashi 2007).
