Montenegrina sporadica Nordsieck, 1974 View in CoL

Diagnosis.

Shell small, light corneous. Lower whorls smooth, upper ones smooth to indistinctly wrinkled-costate. Neck inflexed, striate. Basal and peripheral crests weak. Peristome attached, ovoid to somewhat angular, with slightly swollen margin. In front view lamella inferior moderately emerged, medium-bent subcolumellaris visible or hidden. Lunella dorsolateral to dorsolateral-lateral. Basalis absent or weak and not fused to the lunella, subclaustralis absent. Anterior plica superior mostly missing, if present separate from the lunella complex. The clausilium plate is partly visible through the aperture. Differs from Montenegrina janinensis by the stronger sculpture, weaker-bent lamella subcolumellaris, and the lack of anterior plica superior.
