Type material. Holotype ɗ. Present whereabouts unknown. Type locality. Unguja Ukuu, Unguja, Zanzibar.

Habitat. Amongst Cymodocea (Bruce, 1976h) .

Bathymetric range. Less than 0.5 m.

Distribution. Known from type locality and Mombasa, Kenya, only.
