Type locality.

Madagascar.

Material examined.

1 ♀: MAK-21; 1 ♂: MAK-42.

Distribution.

Madagascar; widespread and common in lowlands ( Guignot 1959-1961; Bertrand and Legros 1971; Nilsson 2011).

Habitat in study area.

This species was collected at two peripheral sites located in open areas, in temporary lentic habitats without water renewal, and with vegetation.
