An adventive species, possibly established in the region. Newly recorded in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and in the Maritime Provinces as a whole ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 ). Cosmopolitan; in Canada recorded from Ontario and Québec ( McNamara 1991b). Found in dry wood of ash, wild cherry, hickory, oak, orange, locust, poplar, sycamore, and walnut ( Essig 1926).
