Distribution. Brazil (Espírito Santo, Goiás, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, São Paulo), Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina ( Monné 2024a; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2024). New species to Ceará State, Brazil.
Material examined. BRAZIL, Ceará, Serra do Baturité , Guaramiranga, RPPN Sítio Lagoa , 16.III.2020, 04°12ʹ25.56ʹʹ S, 38°58ʹ15.3ʹʹ W, 1012 m., M.L. Monné leg., 1 female ( MNRJ: MNRJ-ENT7-47342 ) GoogleMaps .
Collecting method. Manual collecting.
Species diagnosis. Tegument brownish; pronotum shining and densely, rugosely punctate with yellow pubescence; each elytron with two irregular yellowish maculae bordered by a darker color; elytral apex with the spine at the outer angle ( Lingafelter et al. 2017: 56; Martins 2005; Monné & Monné 2017).
