Distribution. Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil (Mato Grosso, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Bahia, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul), Paraguay, Uruguay ( Monné 2024a; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2024). New species to Ceará State, Brazil.

Collecting method. Manual collecting.

Species diagnosis. Tegument shining reddish-orange; antennae unarmed or with a minute spine (male) or with a very short spine at antennomeres III–VI (female); elytral apex with black spine at outer angle; femora distinctly clavate ( Martins 2005; Galileo & Santos-Silva 2016).
